BECOME A VOLUNTEER:

The California International Airshow is a fun way to get involved to help raise money for local charities. While you are working you can feel, hear and see the excitement all around you. We are looking for adults, 18 and older, to volunteer their time to work in the following positions: ticket sales, working admissions, directing traffic, ushering, parking cars and various other positions. We need volunteers to be available for a minimum of 8 hours.

2024 Award Winner Alex Costes

Our volunteers are the lifeblood of the Airshow. Each year the Board of Directors selects one outstanding volunteer to be recognized as the Volunteer of the year.

In 2024 the Board selected Alex Costes. Alex has been a volunteer on our Admissions team for several years.

Alex leads by example, coming out early and leaving late. He always is the first to step up and help others with his knowledge and understanding of our sophisticated admissions online ticketing system.

He is an electrician by trade and very helpful in making sure the airshow admissions team is ready to go come show days. Alex is a wonderful, dedicated volunteer and the airshow is fortunate to have such a talented volunteer in this very important role.
