Media Credentials
Media credentials will only be issued to working media that provide their organization’s press credentials or an official assignment letter from a legitimate media outlet.
Priority will be given to working media that are doing live/immediate/turn-around stories/articles/coverage to enhance the Airshow.
Media Credentials are limited, once that limit is reached no additional passes will be issued. Credential requests should be received no later than September 15, 2022.
Requests received after are not guaranteed processing and will be handled on a case by case basis.

Halloween Weekend – Oct 30-31, 2021
USAF Thunderbirds Air Demonstration Squadron flying their F-16 Fighting Falcon. America’s Ambassadors in Blue. As the jets take to the skies and fly only a few feet apart from wingtip to wingtip, the crowd gets a glimpse of the awesome skills and capabilities that fighter pilots must possess in the Air Force’s premier multi role fighter jet.
US Navy F-35c - The back bone of any carrier strike group- Air Show fans at Salinas will be able to see the latest “Top Gun” fighter Jet of the US Navy.
Greg Colyer and the T-33 Shooting Star Fighter Jet of a past era.
Vicky Benzing- local resident flying her 1940 Boeing Stearman demonstrating the grace and beauty of flight in this early trainer.
Jon Melby – flying his Pitts S-1B Muscle Bi-Plane flying high energy aerobatics in a lightweight, big horsepower airplane.
Tom Larkin- flying the Mini Jet, at only 500 lbs with speeds up to 300 MPH makes it one of the most unique and exciting airshow acts in the Country.
Chuck Coleman- will fly his high energy Extra 300 thrilling arishow fans all over the Country. His flying skills and talent were used in the upcoming Tom Cruise sequel “ Top Gun, Maverick”!
See a flight of P-51’s Fighters of the World War II era.
This year celebrate your “Need for Speed” at the airshow with Smoke N Thunder Jet Truck, a twin engine ’57 Chevy pickup capable of speeds of 350 MPH and will even race an airplane. And for the first time at the Airshow see and feel the heat of World Champion Dragster demonstration by Brendan Murry. Plus from Precision Exotics you could even take a high-speed ride in an exotic car at the airshow.
The Airshow also has lots to do on the ground. Military and civilian airplane statics, exhibits that are both educational and entertaining for the whole family, plus the Kids Zone for the little ones. Gates open at 9AM both Saturday and Sunday Oct 30-31 with the flying starting approximately 11:30AM.
