New and Improved Show line at the Airshow
The Board of Directors is pleased to announce a new and improved crowd line and static ramp at this year’s airshow Oct 6-8, 2023. The Airshow is making a significant improvement to our facility to enhance the experience that air show fans will have in 2023, and years beyond.
Over the years, as development has encroached around the Salinas Airport, the airshow moved the flight line and aerobatic box further from the crowd to meet FAA guidelines. The crowd line is being moved several hundred feet closer and parallel to the performers flight line so air show fans can experience the performances up close. This is being done while crowd and performer safety is being the most important priority.

The Air Show Board of Directors is making a significant investment in the future of the show to make our air show fans experience more enjoyable.
