July 31, 2015– SALINAS, CA — The California International Airshow Salinas is pleased to announce the addition of aerobatic performer Yuichi Takagi to this year’s performance schedule!
Originally from Nagasaki, Japan, Takagi is the only Japanese pilot flying airshows in the United States in his Pitts S-2S high performance aerobatic airplane. Born and raised in Japan, Takagi moved to the United States in order to realize his dream of becoming an aviator. He made his first flight in 1992 and has since accumulated over 6,000 hours of flying time as a flight instructor, traffic watch pilot, cargo pilot and glider pilot and 2,200 hours of aerobatic instruction.
