California International Airshow Coronavirus Update, Monday, March 16
Salinas, CA – March 16, 2020 – The 40th California International Airshow remains scheduled for June 5, 6, and 7, 2020. Our mission each year is to produce a “World Class” airshow that is safe for our performers, spectators and volunteers, and then pass through the proceeds to local charities. An event like this takes months of preparation and planning, and our Board of Directors continues with that mission for this year’s airshow.
Our organization will continue to follow the guidance of local, state, and federal health agencies as we plan our event. In addition, we are associated with our national Air Show Association, who is actively engaged with US Military officials in advising hundreds of air shows around North America concerning the Coronavirus. Our number one priority is the health and safety of our fans, volunteers and the community.
We are hopeful, by June, the spread of the COVID 19 will be minimized and under control. If your plans for June include purchasing tickets to attend our 40th Anniversary show, and we are unable to proceed, we will issue full refunds on ticket purchases.
Thank you for supporting the California International Airshow, and all the best to you and your families during this difficult time.
